The renovation of this home entailed totally removing the roof of the existing 80s family
room and garage and adding a second story loft space overlooking a new great room.
An octagonal bumpout was created as well with large picture windows to overlook a
gorgeous landscaped back yard. A new simulated slate roof was added to tie the old
and new together and new siding was added to for a seamless blend. The owners added
a stunning touch by purchasing an antique metal grate for the loft railing.
