This Door County residence won an Honors Award for Excellence from the American Institute
of Architects. This outstanding site, situated on a hilltop overlooking a bay, called for extensive
windows to enjoy the views. The intersecting geometric forms and extensive use of wood
combine to create a powerful contemporary design that has a warm and comfortable feel to it
and blends well with it’s wooded site.
