The
restoration of this 1910 riverfront building included
a facade renovation, new signage,new
awnings, and an extensive interior renovation. It’s
renovation is being followed by that of the
Sherer Building across the street, so the streetscape
in this area will undergo an exciting
improvement. The newly-renovated street-level spaces
of the building now
house a coffee shop,a photographer’s studio and
retail spaces. The second floor has been
transformed into a women’s day spa, a dance studio
and offices. The rear spaces of the building
have been remodeled into a residential artist’s
loft. A second building on the property, originally
a “dye house” associated with a woolen mill,
is now another residential loft.
