RAVENHEART COFFEE

1,500 s.f. - Renovation

This vibrant urban coffee shop located in the heart of Downtown Elgin was designed within the confines of the original Elgin Federal Savings Bank Building, built in 1956. The building had been mostly vacant and an eyesore before the new Owners John and Jerri McCue purchased the building and made a huge contribution to the revitalization efforts of this once bustling downtown. New insulated glass storefront was installed and the interior space reconfigured for two primary main floor tenants. he public corridor is made transparent by use of a wall of alternating squares of clear and frosted glass.
