Urban Planning utilizes a rich palette of local heritage, adaptive reuse of buildings, urban renewal, infill development and historic preservation, and integrated parking. We work effectively with county and municipal agencies to clarify thier regulations while nurturing the client's objectives.

 

DESIGN GUIDELINES

The goal of the design guidelines is to improve the overall aesthetic character and visual unity of a city or neighborhood. Comprehensive design guidlines help insure that each new building or renovation project contributes to this goal in it's style, scale and integration of building and open areas. Allen+Pepa Architects has written design guildlines for multiple municipalities, including the Historic District of Oswego, IL  and downtown Plano, IL.
