This was a renovation to an existing daycare building, appx. 17,000 sf. The building had been vacated by the previous owner. Allen+Pepa Architects worked with Global Power & Construction, the General Contractor, to bring the building up to current codes, clean and install new finishes, millwork and make various changes in order to meet Guidepost Montessori’s program needs.

Higher Ground is a national daycare provider with expanding facilities all around the country. The daycare program is set for infants through 4 years old with a high staff to child ratio. Facility includes multiple child classrooms for each age group, room for gross motor activities, fenced outdoor play areas with covered shade structures and other amenities.
