About:
Architecture wasn’t exactly the plan. While filling out my engineering entrance exam application, my mom suggested I check the box for architecture too. I reluctantly did—and a great entrance score, a free seat in architecture school, and perhaps a little fate changed the course of my life.
Over the years, I fell in love with a profession that keeps me curious, constantly learning, and creatively challenged. Moving to the U.S. meant relearning building science, codes, and construction practices, reinforcing something I value deeply about architecture: there is always more to learn.
I have always been a maker at heart. I still believe handmade gifts and handwritten notes are the most precious kind. Architecture gives me the incredible opportunity to see creativity come to life while creating spaces that can meaningfully influence communities and people’s health, safety, and well-being.
And if I weren’t an architect? I might have been a singer. Either way, you would probably still find me painting, knitting, crafting, or happily lost in a book in my garden.
