ARCHITECTURAL ASSOCIATE

Allen+Pepa Architects is seeking a full time Architectural Associate with 2+ years of experience to join our team. We are an architecture firm in historic downtown Geneva, Illinois, and take great pride in our work and our company. We focus on office, automotive, daycare, industrial and medical projects. Our firm has done extensive work in the Fox Valley area for over 20 years and are licensed and work in several states throughout the U.S.

This role requires a highly organized and adaptable professional who learns quickly and is available 9am-5pm, M-F. Responsibilities are listed below. Bachelors degree in Architecture is required; a Masters degree is a bonus. Must be proficient in Revit and Microsoft Office 365 suite. . Collaborate with leadership & team to develop schematic designs

. Space planning

. Project Management

. Produce and revise construction drawings using Revit

. Survey project sites and document as-builts

. Product research and specifications

. Create graphic presentations to clients, Planning & Zoning approvals & marketing purposes

. Coordinate with consultants including MEP, Structural and Civil Engineers

. Code research and correspondence with governing authorities for permit and P&Z approvals

. Manage project bids for construction

. Construction Observation - respond to RFIs, submittal reviews & periodic site visits
